Ann Reumann Obituary

Ann Bovaird Reumann, a devoted public servant, mentor, and cherished wife, passed away surrounded by family and friends. She will be remembered for her

generosity, quiet strength, and the light she brought to everyone around her.

Ann took great pride in her career with the federal government, where she dedicated herself to helping others and serving with integrity. She loved her

work and found fulfillment in mentoring colleagues and supporting those facing challenges such as kidney disease and dialysis. Her compassion and willingness

to share her experience touched countless lives.

Ann adored her husband, Mark Reumann, and together they recently celebrated 20 years of marriage - a partnership filled with love, laughter, and mutual

devotion. She also treasured being an aunt and was endlessly proud of her niece, Allison Layton, and nephew, Aaron Bovaird, delighting in their accomplishments

and offering constant encouragement.

An avid reader and loyal friend, Ann found joy in good books and time spent with the people she loved. Despite her own health challenges, including blindness

and two kidney transplants, she faced life with courage, humor, and grace.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Kay Bovaird. She is survived by her husband, Mark; her brother, Ray Bovaird; her niece, Allison; and

her nephew, Aaron.

Ann's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit were a shining light in the lives of all who knew her - a light that will continue to guide and inspire those

she loved.

Ann's memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2701 Cameron Mills Road

Alexandria, VA 22302 with a reception to follow in Fellowship Hall.
