Anna Norris Duffy Richter, of Micco Florida passed away on October 24,2025. She attended The First Baptist Church in Barefoot Bay, Florida. She was a member of the Barefoot Bay Craft Club. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Anna was born September 1, 1932 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of Howard Matthew Norris Jr. and Anna Dawson Perry Norris.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gordon Lloyd Richter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Anna Norris, and her first husband, William LeClair Duffy, the father of her children. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy and Howard, brother-in-law Gary Richter, two sons-in-law; Michael Joseph Adee , Alan Dale Ashworth, and granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson.

She is also survived by her children, Debra D. Babiec (Daniel) of Alexandria, VA; Cheryl d. Simpson (Keneth) of Mechanicsville, VA; William M. Duffy (Elaine) of Richmond, VA; Teresa D. Ashworth of Dillwyn, VA and John D. Duffy (Christine) of Herndon, VA. She is also survived by three step sons; Randolph Richter (Anne) of Michigan and Daryl and Rodney Richter of Palm Bay, FL; 18 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. She is survived by her three siblings; Mary Richards, Joseph Norris, both of Southern MD, sister Patricia Pickeral of Buckeye, AZ, and sister-in-law, Noralyn Arnold, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Firs Baptist Church of Barefoot Bay, Florida on January 18, 2026 at 3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Barefoot Bay First Baptist Church, Our Father's Table Soup Kitchen (PO Box 6114 in Vero Beach, FL. 32961) or Daily Bread( 815 East Fee Ave, Melbourne FL 32901)
