Mrs. Scanlon was truly a kindhearted, sweet lady. Not only was she a teacher to many, but after her retirement she was an amazing babysitter to my oldest son, Zach. She cared for him like her own and was a great, positive role model in his younger years. She will be missed and always loved. Rest easy now, Mrs. Scanlon.

Mrs. Scanlon was my typing business teacher at Allegany Central. She was always so positive/kind and her patience was infinite. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends

Ann was a truly sweet and caring person, always offering kind words and a warm presence. She held a special place in our hearts and in our family memories-especially during visits with our grandparents and later with our grandma, Virg Scarlato Martiny. Her gentle spirit will be remembered with love and gratitude.

Ann was a person of precision. Her editing of the parish bulletin and any other parish communications was always grammatically and punctually correct. Her loyalty and activity at St. Bonaventure parish crossed over many areas and activities. Now the BONNIES and the BILLS have a loyal fan cheering for them in eternity. May Ann rest in God's eternal peace and grow deeper in Christ's infinite love.

I was a student of Mrs. Scanlon in 1986-1987. I found her to be very kind, and an excellent teacher. I learned how to type in her class. This skill has been very useful and important during my college days, and career. Mrs. Scanlon had an important impact on my life. I´m sure she joined her husband in Heaven.
