Ann Harvey Scott

Ann Harvey Scott of Wilmington died Thursday August 9, 2012 at Brightmore Commons. She was born March 28, 1939 in Raleigh, NC daughter of the late Paul Henry Harvey and Ethel Larson Harvey and was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Pearce Scott, Sr., sisters, Lois Kay Harvey and Barbara Jean Harvey. Ann graduated from Broughton High School, UNC Chapel Hill and UNCW, she was a retired real estate agent, member of the Cape Fear Garden Club, former President of the Historic Wilmington Foundation Board. Ann loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers, painting, crafts and was an avid doodler. Surviving are her children Herbert Pearce Scott, Jr. and wife Margaret (Maggie) Ringo Scott, daughter Paige Scott Mullin and husband Robert Waggener Mullin Jr., brother, David Paul Harvey and wife Lori Palmer Harvey, grandchildren, Virginia Scott, Philip Scott, Annabelle Mullin, Bobby Mullin, PJ Mullin, nieces, Ashley Gabardine, Chelsea Gabardine, Alana Harvey and a nephew O'Malley Gabardine. A funeral service will be held 11am Monday August 13, 2012 at St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church by Rev. Rob Lapp. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the Historic Wilmington Foundation.
