Ann M. Shivak

Ann M. Shivak, 84, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville. She was born Nov. 16, 1940, in Chippewa Falls, WI, was formerly of Libertyville, living in Mundelein the past 53 years. She was a volunteer at the Food Kitchen in Waukegan, enjoyed traveling, cooking and gardening.

Surviving are 3 sons, Tod (Eileen) Shivak of Ypsilanti, MI, Steven (Jodi) Shivak of Sewickley, PA and Alan Jay (Anne) Shivak of Highland Park, IL; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Kathryn, James, Sara Rae and Alex; and her brother, John (Carol) Ruane.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Shivak in 2006; and by her sister, Judy Bertone and brother, Bill Ruane.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Assn.
