Ann K Tran, our beloved sister and devoted aunt, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026 at the age of 97. Ann was born on November 5, 1928 to Mr. Tran Hung Sy and Mrs. Thai Thi Quit and grew up in Qui Nhon, South Vietnam. She was the oldest among five siblings; alongside with two sisters and two brothers. After graduated from High School, “Di Anh” – as she was known to us - began her long and successful career in Accounting. In 1975, she joined her two sisters and her brother along with her nieces and nephews to come to U.S. and settled in San Antonio, Texas and continued her Accounting profession until her retirement in 1993. To her nieces and nephews, Di Anh was more than an aunt; she was a second mother who helped guide our family during our difficult days in 1975. In addition to family, Di Anh loved to spend her free time to play “Tu Sac” and listen to classical piano music. Ann is survived by her sister, her two sisters-in-law, and her twelve nieces and nephews, along with their spouses and children.
