Ann Marie Walker, of Clifton, New Jersey, passed away on March 18, 2026, at Hackensack University Medical Center after a long illness. She was born on November 8, 1958, in Passaic and was raised in Bloomfield before making Clifton her home in 2005. Ann Marie was a graduate of East Orange Catholic High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Upsala College in 1979.

She began her professional career as an executive secretary at Nichimen Co., Inc. She later transitioned into nonprofit work, serving as a grant writer for the Children's Health Fund in New York. Ann Marie went on to hold similar roles at New Jersey Legal Services, Women in Need,
and Urban Pathways, where she dedicated her skills to supporting organizations committed to public service and community well-being.

Ann Marie was predeceased by her parents, Arthur Donald Walker and Mary Dorothy Hofmann, as well as her brother Arthur Walker. She is survived by her brother Donald Karl Walker and his husband Christian Philip Walker; her sister-in-law Gail Elizabeth Kennedy; her niece Elizabeth Ann Kennedy; and her nephew Arthur John Kennedy. She is also lovingly remembered by her cousins and their spouses: James and Connie Comis, Gerald and Robin Comis, Donald and Cheryl Comis, Maureen and Gary Baletti, Lorraine and Antony Spina, Patrick and Jane Dillon, Robert Hofmann, Mary Hofmann and Michael Kritsky.

In accordance with Ann Marie's wishes, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial
Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
