Ann Marie Yerkey

Ann Marie Yerkey, 77, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the people who loved her most.

Born on September 26, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, Ann was the cherished daughter of James and Nona Braun. She was formerly of St. Albans, West Virginia, and carried her warmth and vibrant spirit wherever she lived.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Bill Yerkey, and treasured the many adventures they experienced traveling together. Ann had a lively and magical presence that lit up every room she entered. Her laughter, kindness, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband, Bill, she is survived by her children: Michel Yerkey, Erica Yerkey Buizert, and Scott Yerkey. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Myles Yerkey, Theo Buizert, and Violet Yerkey, who brought immense joy to her life.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026, from 10am-12pm at Burroughs Funeral Home 3558 Old Kings Hwy Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
