Anna Anderson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home - Wills Point on Sep. 25, 2025.
Anna Lee Anderson (Chapman), age 90, has joined the stars in the heavens. She passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
A lifelong Texan with deep roots and a heart devoted to family, faith, and service, Anna Lee leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and dedication.

Born on February 8, 1935, in Cleburne, Texas, Anna Lee was the daughter of Daniel Lee Chapman and Dorris Long Chapman. The daughter of a butcher,
she moved to Dallas during her youth, graduating from Sunset High School in 1953 and attending North Texas University for a short time.

Anna Lee married and raised four sons in the Dallas area. She was preceded in death by beloved parents Daniel and Dorris Chapman, and son Daniel Lee Anderson.
She is survived by son Donald Gene Anderson, son Glynn Anderson with wife Nancy and son Lynn Anderson.
Her love has extended across generations to include five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A spirited world traveler, she embraced fascinating sights and sounds through numerous cruises and AARP bus trips while always returning home to Texas, where she built lasting friendships and nurtured generations of family.

A woman of many interests and talents, Anna Lee developed a love for genealogy and as a member of the Dallas Genealogy Society, was happy to dig up skeletons.
She enjoyed square dancing for several years and that talent later morphed into ballroom dancing.
Her collection of Anna Lee Dolls reflected both her name and her appreciation for craftsmanship.

Anna Lee was a proud member of the Jane Douglas Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution since 1995.
She volunteered at the DAR Museum at the State Fair of Texas for over three decades-a testament to her enduring commitment to friends and community,
From 1989 to 2000, she was a member of the Dallas International Club, while in an earlier life, she served as president of the PTA at John B Hood Junior High School.

Her faith and religion were central to her life. Anna Lee was a member of First Baptist Church Urbandale since 1960.

Though she lived briefly in California from 1954 to 1957, Dallas remained her true home.

Anna Lee will be remembered by those who knew her as the stoic one concerned for others' well-being.
She was always first on the call list through life's challenges.

Let her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on September 26, 2025, at First Baptist Church Urbandale 6926 Military Parkway in Dallas, Tx.
