Anna Marie Brady, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, left this world peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Bakersfield, California, to the late Earl and Lorraine Morris, Anna graduated from Foothill High School in 1966 and later pursued a fulfilling career as a factory worker at Monroe, where she dedicated over 16 years of her life to the manufacturing industry.
Anna's warmth and vivacity were evident in every aspect of her life. Known for her insatiable love of shopping, she found joy in even the smallest purchases, as long as she was exploring stores. Those who knew her would often say that a piece of chocolate could sweeten any request, as her fondness for the treat was well-known among family and friends. Anna was also a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she found community and solace.
She is survived by her cherished sisters, Mary Ellen Morris of Paragould, Patricia (Scott) Hattersley of Marietta, Georgia, and Margaret (John) Jones of Greensboro, Georgia; brother, George (Lynn) Morris of Paragould; nephews, Adam Morris and William Jones; nieces, Gabrielle and Grace Hattersley, Ashley Morris, and Megan Miller; five great nephews; and three great nieces, all who will forever hold the memories of Anna close to their hearts. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff, nurses, and CNAs at Green House Cottages of Belle Meade for the compassionate care and friendship they provided to Anna during her time there.
A rosary service will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A visitation will follow until 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will occur at St. Mary's Catholic Church on July 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Anna's life and faith.
Anna will be remembered fondly for her spirited nature, her loving heart, and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
