Anna Louise Brady

Anna Louise Brady, 86, of Owings passed away December 3, 2025. She was born July 2, 1939, in Edgewater to Gilbert Jesse and Sheila Catherine (Taylor) Hardesty. Anna grew up on the family farm in Edgewater and graduated from Annapolis High School. She worked for Nationwide Insurance Company until her son was born in 1972. She then stayed home to raise her family and help on the farm. Anna was a former member of Davidsonville United Methodist Church and Smithville United Methodist Church and is a current member of Galesville United Methodist Church. Anna loves reading and was never without a book. She enjoyed going out to lunch with her sisters, spending time with her family, and watching gameshows and The Young and the Restless.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Sylvester Lewis Brady, Sr. She is survived by her son Sylvester Lewis "S.L." Brady, Jr. and his wife Amanda, grandchildren Lee, Travis, and Rebekah Brady, sister Rosetta Clark and Jennifer Collinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
