I am saddened to learn of Anna's passing. My wife and I became friends with Anna and Richard many years ago in Okeechobee, Florida, where we always enjoyed the Octoberfest celebrations and "lip sync" musical events that they organized and participated in. Despite relocations over the years, we had stayed in touch with phone conversations and holiday cards and notes. I loved her stories about Fonzie, her beloved dog. Rest in peace, dear Anna. Sending condolences to the family on their loss.

We met Anna and her husband Dick one time. They were visiting her daughter Cindy in Mount Airy, NC. I remember how very elegant she was. Her smile was so warm and immediately made you feel loved. They had their small so well behaved little dog with them. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner that Cindy had made. But most of all the interesting conversations and laughter we all shared. Through the years she has been remembered with love.
For her family we pray the Lord will reside in their hearts during their grief. Bring memories to ease their days. And love to stay close as a family.
The peace of Christ fill each of you today and in the days to come.
