Anna Capezzuto Obituary

Anna Marie Capezzuto, 88, of Ross Township, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed on Dec. 6, 2024. Born on July 25, 1936, she was the cherished daughter of the late Peter and Mary Jocz. Anna Marie lived a full and beautiful life devoted to her family, filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Anna Marie was the beloved wife of the late John Capezzuto, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Together, they created a life of joy, collecting antiques, traveling, and building a legacy of love. She was a dedicated mother to her children, Jonathan (Janie) Capezzuto and Robin (Lawrence) Seneta. She adored her grandchildren, Tyler (Stacy) Capezzuto, Christopher (Zoe) Capezzuto, Sierra Seneta, and Carson Seneta; and her great-grandchildren, Noelle Capezzuto and Isaac Capezzuto. She also cared deeply for many pets throughout her life, including her dear cat, Toby, who stayed by her side until the very end. Throughout her life, Anna Marie excelled in many roles with grace and determination. She began her professional journey working in a bakery, then served as a real estate agent for Northwood Realty, and concluded her career as an office manager for both McSorley's Restaurant and BJ Maintenance and Construction. Her true passion, however, was creating memoriescarefully documenting her travels and experiences in meticulous journals and photo albums that will remain treasured keepsakes for her family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Anna Marie's greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. Her unwavering love, generosity, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Wings of Hope (Erie) or Orphan Angels.
