Anna Louise Carter

Anna Louise Driver Carter, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Lafayette, TN native was a homemaker, retired employee of RACO, member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church and 50 year member of Lafayette Chapter #379 O.E.S. Anna and Junior lived in Allen County for 69 years and were members of the Allen County Civil Defense for 20 years. Anna, Junior and Doug were all baptized and joined Maple Grove Church in 1971. She was a daughter of the late Freely A. Driver and Isabell Stinson Driver Cox and wife of the late Junior Douglas Carter.
She is survived 1 son: Chris Carter and wife, Mary, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Peggy Rush and husband, Joe, Lafayette, TN and Kim Kinser and husband, Mark, Brownsville, KY;
Her daughter-in-law: Debbie Carter, Scottsville, KY;
6 grandchildren: Lakien Carter (Paul), Brandy Green (John), Kayla Nichols (Forrest), David Carter (Brittany), Cody Carter (Ciara) and John Carter (Kyneal);
Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son: Douglas Wayne Carter; 1 grandson: Todd Sullivan; 1 brother: Louie Driver; 3 sisters: Lattie Borders, Kathrine Brown and Mae Doss.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Marsh officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Lafayette Chapter#379 O.E.S. will hold rites at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
