Anna Celusnak, 91, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers. She was born on May 27, 1933 to August and Anna Cernicky in Dobšiná, Czechoslovakia.
Anna was a remarkable woman. She came to the United States when she was 4 years old. She grew up in Detroit and met her husband of 61 years, Bernard, there. Upon Bernie's retirement, they moved to Higgins Lake, Michigan, where they lived for 20 years. They enjoyed fishing, boating, and grilling outdoors with their grandchildren, before moving to Indiana in 2012. Family meant everything to Anna, and she loved having them around her. She also loved shopping on QVC and had a vast movie collection.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Daniel) Byrne; son, Michael (Cynthia) Celusnak; sister, Viera (Lee) Caudill; grandchildren, Kelly (Eric) Kniowski, Kristin (Dustin) May, Kimberly (Matthew) O'Malley, and Brian Celusnak; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Marlow, Grayson and Luke.
