Anna Louise (Lasica) Christy, 89, of Rostraver Township, returned to her Maker to thank Him for His Gifts and Blessings on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh on July 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Anna Mae (Manko) Pagone.
During her lifetime, Anna worked as a secretary for the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, the American Torch Tip Company, Spa Lady, Falk Clinic and Christy Sales Incorporated, but her fulfillment was in being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver, where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister and was active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her children, Frank (Patty) Lasica Jr., Cynthia (Chuck) Welling, David (Kim) Lasica and Michelle (John) Erickson; grandchildren, Anthony (Dave) Lasica, Tina Bowser Lasica, Mark (Amy) Phillips Stephanie (Adi) Gelem, Paul (Lauren) Phillips, Jeremy (Jess) Lasica, Mary (Andy) Sampey, Jason (Ashleigh) Lasica, Jordan Lasica, Rachael (Mick) Radakovich Emily (Blake) Hurt, Katherine (Kayden) Lasica, Alexis (Cary) Lamkin, Nicholas (Giannia) Lasica, Megan (Brenden) Forrester and Chris Lawson; great grandchildren, Mia, Jacob, Nathan, Ava, Anna, Vera, Benjamin, Chloe, Noel, Jillian, Andrew, Theadora, Everett, Aubriannia, Braxton, Ayla, Emma, Kendall, Harley and Cora; step children, Barbara (Dariush) Khosravinni, Felicia (Brian) Brockman, Terri Fessler; and sister, Kathleen (Rocky) Leonhardt.
Anna was blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including the Nicole (Tim) Stein Family and the Robert (Julianna) Ohler Family, whom she kept in her heart and her prayers. Her felines, Phantom and Minx, were treasured pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Louis and Wanda Pagone; granddaughter, Angela Phillips; stepdaughter, Cheryl Lotz and the love of her life, Pete Christy.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township with Rev, Roselo Melloria presiding.
