Anna Cochran Obituary
Anna Jane (McKinney) Cochran, age 84, born March 26, 1940, with heavy hearts we announce the passing of the rock of our family, who went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Jane loved everybody, she left a lasting impact on all our lives and will live on in our hearts forever.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cochran, children, Timmy Cochran and Sarah Lawson, grandson, Josh Hood, siblings, Bill McKinney and Pat Johnson, and numerous other family members who passed before her.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Cochran (Rose), grandchildren, Crystal Hayes, Angie Essary (Kevin), Sammy Dyer, Jamie Cochran (Ashley), and Jade Melecosky (Sam), 13 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Judy Morrison (Dana) and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at Green Acres Baptist Church on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Derrick Mitchell officiating. Graveside service will be at Rutledge Pike Cemetery on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Cochran, Sammy Dyer, Gavin Hurst, Tanner Green, Brayden Hayes, and Darrell McKinney.
