Anna Colantone
Caring and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend
Anna (Statile) Colantone passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Born in Summit, she was a lifelong resident of Springfield until she moved to Warren three years ago to be closer to her family.
Anna was a graduate of Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, and attended Upsala College where she studied Early Childhood Education. She spent her early career in banking, and later as an administrator for the family business, Springfield Nursery. She is a former member of St. James Church in Springfield.
She was a caring and loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her friends and family and will be missed by all.
Predeceased by her husband of 39 years Gerald Colantone, siblings Philip and Anne Statile, Clara and Bill Doland, and Catherine Statile.
Survived by her daughter Bianca Putruele and her husband Jerry; grandchildren Carissa and Alec; sister-in-law Bianca Arianno and her husband Anthony; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Anna's life will be scheduled at a later date.
