Anna Valdrighi Shaw Deagle

Anna Valdrighi Shaw Deagle, 75, of Mathews, Virginia passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born in Richmond, Virginia to Stephen N. Valdrighi and Josephine M. Valdrighi, October 6, 1948. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Reginald Deagle. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Stephen A. Valdrighi and Ralph H. Valdrighi and her sister, Geny V. Holtz. 

 She is survived by her two loving sons, Charles Stephen Shaw (Amy) and James Michael Shaw (Casey) both of Mathews; two grandsons, Nathan Warren Shaw (Chesapeake) and John Stephen Shaw both of Mathews: a stepson, Richard Deagle of New Jersey and two sisters-in-laws, Mary Valdrighi and Darlene Shaw. She was a loving aunt to ten nieces, nephews and their families. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her amazing caregiver, Laura Garrett for the special care she gave to Anna.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 6:00 pm. – 8:00 p.m. at Francis de Sales Church, Mathews, Virginia. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery, Grimstead, Virginia.
