Anna Mary Deehan, born on November 16, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on February 12, 2025, in
Greenville, South Carolina. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Anna was united in marriage to Joseph M. Deehan in November 1983 in Towson, Maryland. Together, they blended their families and built a life filled with love, joy, and shared experiences over their 41 years of marriage. Anna dedicated her professional life to customer service, working for McCormick & Company, Inc. for many years before moving to Macy's Department Store, where she managed the Customer Service Department.
In 2003, Anna and Joseph relocated to South Carolina, settling in Traveler's Rest. Among her many activities there, Anna served as a volunteer teacher at a local school assisiting young children in reading programs. Anna and Joseph traveled extensively during retirement, and she developed a special affinity for Ireland over the course of her many trips there.
They later moved to Greenville, where they were faithful communicants of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Anna's faith and her family were the cornerstones of her life.
Anna leaves her husband, Joseph M. Deehan of
Greenville, SC; her son, Shawn Duffy of Parkville, MD; a step-daughter, Jenifer Dunbar of Nantucket, MA; a step-son, Joseph J. Deehan of Alpharetta, GA; a step-daughter, Bridget Lundgren of Northford, CT; seven grandchildren, Ian Duffy, Eireamhon Duffy, Riley Kendall, Avery Kendall, Owen Lundgren, Will Deehan, and Ryan Deehan.
