Anna Lee Durst

Anna Lee Durst, 88, of Keyser, West Virginia, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Keyser Healthcare Center.
Born December 5, 1936, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late J. Herbert Clark and Ursula E. (Kesner) Clark of McCoole, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart P. Durst, Sr., who died February 17, 2010, and her son, Stuart P. Durst, Jr., who died November 7, 2021.
A 1954 graduate of Bruce High School, Mrs. Durst was a member of Keyser Presbyterian Church and was formerly active in the church's Women's Circle. Devoted to her family, she managed the bookkeeping and other affairs for the family businesses. She was actively involved in the PTA, serving as a homeroom mother during her children's grade school years, was an avid flower gardener, and prided herself on keeping up with news and current events throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelley Ann Durst and husband Jeffrey Guinness of Decatur, Georgia; her daughter in law, Julie Ann Ward of Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren, Stuart R. Durst of Washington, D.C., and Abigail Anna Durst of Chicago, Illinois; and her long-time friend and caregiver, Dawn Mallow of Keyser.
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., with Mandy Moreland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
