Anna Mae Edwards, 102, of Warner, Oklahoma, peacefully passed from this life on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Warner, surrounded by family. Born on July 17, 1923, in Platter, Oklahoma, Anna was the beloved daughter of Thomas D. Arnold and Golda (Anderson) Arnold.
Throughout her life, Anna made significant contributions as a secretary, a role that showcased her diligent work ethic and keen organizational skills. On February 28, 1942, Anna united in marriage with T. C. Edwards in Lenna, Oklahoma. Together, they shared many cherished years until his passing in April of 2009.
Anna was not only devoted to her family but also embraced her faith, which guided her actions throughout her life. She dedicated herself to supporting her loved ones and actively serving others in her community, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew her.
Anna is survived by her two sons, Dannie Edwards and wife Susan of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Dewayne Edwards and wife Shirley of Warner, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kay Calavan and husband Mark of Warner, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Thomas Bebee, Joy Salcedo, Rachael Hall, Sarah Williams, Liane Chambers, Hannah Spears and Jay Edwards; and great-grandchildren Hope Salcedo, Landon Bebee, Lance Bebee, Lane Bebee, Isaac Williams, Satchel Hall, Adeline Spears, Ivey Williams, Indigo Hall, Cade Spears, Violet Chambers, Nora Mae Spears, James Edwards, Clara Spears, Ben Chambers, Henry Edwards.
She is preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Edwards; her parents, T.D. and Golda Arnold; three brothers, Homer, Robert and Walter Arnold; one sister, Bessie McGuire; and one great-granddaughter, Victoria Salcedo.
Anna Mae Edwards will be remembered for her unwavering strength, love for her family, and her selfless spirit in serving those around her. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future generations.
