Anna Mobley Elian

Anna Ruth Mobley Elian, 97, of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday - November 12, 2024 at Legacy Village of Plantation Manor. A Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Whigham, GA on Saturday - November 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Keown officiating. Anna was born October 26, 1927 in Whigham, GA. Her parents, Daniel Eugene Mobley and Anna Cornelia Maxwell Mobley have preceded her in death. She married Amein "George" Elian who passed away in 1991. She worked for BellSouth, Southern Bell, and AT&T in Jacksonville, FL, until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean Smith (Larry) of Thomasville, GA, grandchildren, Kimberli Bishop and Stephanie Bishop. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilma Mobley Brinson, James Elrod Mobley, Betty Mobley Byrd, David R. Mobley, Tommy Mobley, Jimmy R. Mobley, Julian Kenneth Mobley, Ronald Maxwell Mobley, and George G. Mobley. Donations may be made in honor of Anna Elian to your favorite charity.
