Clyde Kenneth "Buddy" Singletary, 71, of Pelham, GA, passed away on Tuesday - February 17, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Friday - February 20, 2026 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Teddy Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Cairo City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel.

Buddy was born on November 6, 1954 to the late Clyde Singletary and Mary Lois Joyner Singletary. He married the love of his life, Ruby Maxine Singletary, on February 28, 1992, who survives in Pelham, GA. Ruby and Buddy enjoyed 33 wonderful years together, and he will stay alive in her heart until the day they meet again.

Buddy had a very quick witted and dry sense of humor. He loved to be a jokester and make you laugh. If Buddy picked on you that meant he cared about you. Spending time with family meant the world to him, especially with his wife and grandchildren. He also loved FSU football and spending a day fishing whenever he got the chance. Buddy will forever be missed and loved by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; his children, Joshua Singletary of Oklahoma, Allen Cliett of Cairo, GA, Lea Marie Johnson of Cairo, GA, Amanda (Jason) Corley, and Tracey (Timothy) Harrell, both of Cairo, GA, grandchildren, Blake Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Taylor Hester, Christian Gomez, Kelby Cliett, Shelby Braswell, Coby Cliett, Makatelyn Buckner, Xander Corley, T.J. Harrell, and Parker Harrell, and 10 great-grandchildren, siblings, Les Singletary of Ruston, LA, Johnny Singletary of Tallahassee, FL, Gloria Chester of Quincy, FL, Rose Singletary of Whigham, GA, and his dog, Babygirl.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; a daughter, Jamie Singletary, a brother, Jimmy Singletary, and son-in-law, Chris Johnson.
