Anna Lou Fillmore, 79, passed away a few days shy of her 80th birthday.
She was born on February 23, 1944, in Ohio County Kentucky to Robert and Sally Geary.
She enjoyed family get togethers, cooking, crossword puzzles, reading, and weekend getaways. She also loved to play with her puppy Bridget.
He favorite place to visit was always the Smokey Mountains.
Left to cherish her memory is her longtime companion and husband of 21 years, David; children, John Jr. and Rita; step-children, Brian and Nichole; siblings, William, Rayburn, and Marcella Kay; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and their children in the state of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters, Rose, Mattie, Faye, and Sandy; and her brother, Ronnie.
Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221 with burial to follow in West Newton Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until time of service.
