Anna M. Genchi, age 71, passed away on August 6, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on November 2, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Victor Aicone Sr. and Marion "Bea" Foster.
Beloved mother of Kristin Horvath (Dan), Joseph Genchi, and Louis Mateosky (deceased). Cherished grandmother of Marissa Mateosky. Dear sister of Connie Kleppel (Ken), Victor J. Aicone Jr., and stepsister of Cindi Drabik (George). Treasured aunt of Kyle (Amanda) Kleppel, Kendall Kleppel, Stacy Kleppel, and Noelle (Mikey) Wagner. Anna touched the lives of many people with her caring and feisty nature. Some of her favorite things to enjoy in life were time with family and friends, her daily coffee fix from Dunkin Donuts, playing words with friends, and the occasional after-work outgoing with co-workers.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd. Brook Park, OH 44142 (please meet at gates by 10:45 a.m.), with a celebration of life to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made towards the funeral service.
