Anna Marie Griego

Anna Marie Griego was born on April 12, 1949, in Anthony, Texas, to Marcos and Esther Muñoz. On February 17, 2026, she was called to eternal rest, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a community blessed by her kindness.

Anna Marie shared 31 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Benjamin "Ben" Griego, before God called him home. Their love was a foundation of strength, faith, and devotion that carried her throughout her life.

A devout Catholic, Anna Marie faithfully attended Mass every Sunday. Her faith guided her daily life and was reflected in the compassion, generosity, and quiet strength she showed to everyone she met.

For nearly three decades, she worked as a medical assistant at La Clinica de Familia. She was often the first warm smile patients saw when they walked through the doors. Her gentle presence and caring heart brought comfort to countless families during vulnerable moments.

Above all, Anna Marie's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Laura and Benjamin (Yvette), and nothing made her prouder than being a grandmother to Rafael (Brianna), Angelina, and Athena, and a great-grandmother to little Lainey Rose. Her love for them was constant, steady, and unconditional.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcos and Esther Muñoz; her husband, Ben; and her sister, Sarah. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters and brother, Dorothy, Laura, Eva, and Mark, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Anna Marie will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and the way she made others feel cared for and welcomed. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her

A Rosary will be held on February 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.
