Anna J. Heckler, 77, of Coram, New York, passed away on November 9, 2025, surrounded by the people who loved her most. Anna was the heart of her family and home, and she made sure everyone who walked through her door felt welcomed and cared for. Anna spent her life taking care of her family, which was her greatest joy. She had a big, loving spirit and a soft spot for dogs, especially puppies. She also had a special love for Christmastime. The lights, the music, the gifts, the traditions-she poured herself into making the holidays feel magical for everyone around her. Anna and her husband Ed shared 57 years of marriage, and they were truly partners and best friends in every sense. Their bond was strong, steady, and full of love that never needed to be explained- everyone could see it. She is survived by her husband Ed; her children Corinne (Richie), Dawn (Jake), and Ed (Micki); and her grandchildren Abby, Ben, Samantha, and Raven, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother Danny and sister Ninon, and her special cousins and close friends Joyce and Joe, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Irene, father Jerry, and brother James. Anna will be remembered for her love of family gatherings, her warmth, her humor, her stubborn streak when it mattered, and the way she could make even ordinary days feel special. She leaves behind countless memories that will continue to bring smiles, laughter, and stories for years to come. An open visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th from 6–8 PM. A private family service and graveside memorial will follow on Saturday, November 15th at 10:30 AM. Her family invites everyone who knew her to honor her by remembering the moments she made brighter.
