Anna Lee Highland, 85, of Columbus, Ga, passed away on December 18, 2025. Anna was born in Dalton, Ga, on July 4, 1940, to the late Wiley Ingram Jones and Clarkie Lee Hall Jones. She grew up in Brunswick, Ga, and enjoyed going back to visit as an adult. Anna was an accountant and attended college at Columbus State University. She took pride in her position as an accountant for Britt David Baptist Church and Columbus Baptist Association until retirement. She traveled some for work and favored her trip to Niagara Falls. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and could watch murder mysteries for hours. Most of all, Anna loved her family and spent as much time as she could with them. Anna will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Other than her parents, Anna Highland is preceded in death by the father of her children and former husband, Tom Highland; and brother, Bill Jones. She is survived by her Children, Rhonda Gibson, Tom Highland, Jr., Vickie Randall, and Melissa Singleton; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
