Anna Louise Sell Hudson

Anna Louise Sell Hudson, 79, passed away on March 14, 2026, at Aston Park Health Care Center. A resident of Asheville for 24 years, Anna was born in Thomasville, Davidson County, to the late Carl Wade Sell and Marce Lena Weavill Sell.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wade Sell and nephew, Gary Owens.
Anna spent her career as a housekeeper, custodian, and office cleanup employee. She was of the Baptist faith and found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. An animal lover at heart, she adored dogs, cats, birds, deer, and visiting zoos. One of her favorite pastimes was riding through neighborhoods to admire local flowers, trees, and gardens.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen T. Hudson. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Owens and husband Richard; her sister-in-law, Judy Sell (wife of the late Gary Wade Sell); her niece, Debbie Delap and husband Scott of Kernersville; and great-nephew, Brandon Delap.
Anna will be remembered as a dear, sweet soul. Her family finds comfort in the promise that Heaven will greet her with arms open wide until they all meet again.
