She was preceded in death by her father, Weldon Palmer; and her husband, Carl Hughes. She is survived by her mom, Ella Palmer; her sons, Daniel Hughes (Carla), Jackson Hughes (Vanessa), and Mike Hughes; her grandkids, Taylor Hughes, Sydney Allen, Benjamin Hughes, Camden Hughes, Addison Hughes, Jada Hughes, Jacob Hughes, and Stephen Anderson; her great grandchild, Dallas Asher Hughes; and her siblings, Jerry Taylor (Robert), Joe Palmer (Ann), Shane Palmer (Stacy), Chris Wilson (Debbie), and Stephanie Wilson.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Boyd officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at the funeral home. The burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery.
