Anna Kaprowski

Anna Kaprowski, 95, of East Rutherford, passed away on February 14, 2022. Born in Florida, NY, she lived in Wallington and was a resident of East Rutherford for 70 years.
An owner of the Pigeon Hut in Wallington for over 30 years, Anna was a 70 year parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, Wallington, and was a member of the Rosary Confraternity as well as the Columbiettes. A devout Catholic, Anna's daily devotion was to pray the Rosary twice a day.
Anna enjoyed watching game shows on TV, particularly Jeopardy and Wheel Of Fortune. She also enjoyed watching Judge Judy, but her biggest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. In her slightly younger days, Anna enjoyed going to Atlantic City and the race track.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Kaprowski who passed away in 2004. Devoted mother of Karen Blauvelt of Toms River, Joseph Kaprowski and his wife Susan of Parlin, and Elaine Romito and her husband Mark of Rockaway Township. Loving grandmother of Stephen, Craig and his wife Erika, Christa and her husband David and Valerie. Cherished great grandmother of Jordyn, Isabella, James, Julianna and Emily.
Visiting Monday 3-7 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, Wallington. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
