Anna King was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 25, 1929, to the late Willis and Grace Drew. She was the youngest of seven children from this union, all of whom have preceded her in death.

On December 25, 1947, Anna was united in marriage to James King. Together they were blessed with three children: James Jr., Ronald, and Joseph.

In 1954, Anna gave her life to the Lord at an A.A. Allen revival, an experience that forever changed her.

She completed nursing school in 1969, graduating as a registered nurse. Yet the Lord had other plans for her. In 1972, Anna left the nursing field to join her husband in the mission fields. Together they made two trips to Haiti, in 1972 and 1974, delivering medicine and clothing to the people there.

In 1977, the Lord led Anna and her husband to relocate to Phoenix. By 1982, they founded the Phoenix Fellowship of Equator Faith Mission Church, dedicated to serving the mission fields and helping those in need. Through much prayer and fasting, lives and circumstances were transformed. Anna continued to lead EQFM after her husband's passing in 2004, faithfully serving until her retirement from pastoring in 2012.

Anna's beloved husband, James, shared fifty eight years of marriage with her. She cherished their union for eighty years-a true marriage of love.

Anna was a pure example of love, as all who knew her can attest. She cared for neighbors' children while parents recovered from illness, opened her home to strangers in need of room and board, and fed the homeless and hungry. She lived a full and giving life, reaching the blessed age of 96.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory her son Joseph (Marlene), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Grace Drew; her sisters Beatrice, Mary, Murlvia, and Pencilla; and her brothers Bradford and Thomas.
