Anna Mae Krautner

(nee Daley) Passed away September 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Edward Krautner. Loving mother of Michael Krautner and Susan Kruszka. Cherished grandmother of Aidan (Megan) Krautner, Maura Krautner, and Andrew Kruszka. Dear sister of James Daley. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Anna was the Executive Director of the Historic Third Ward Association, where her leadership and dedication helped preserve the character of the neighborhood she loved. She delighted in discovering hidden treasures at local antique shops. Anna's visits to Holy Hill were special occasions, filled with peaceful reflection and appreciation for its beauty. She spent hours poring over interior design books, drawing inspiration for her own home and garden, where she nurtured vibrant flowers and created tranquil spaces for loved ones to gather.

Anna deeply cherished her family. She devoted time to researching the genealogy of her Daley and Forrest ancestors, weaving together the rich tapestry of her family's history. Anna's warmth, curiosity, and devotion to those she loved touched everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff at New Castle Place for their care during her stay.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 29 from 10-11 AM at Lumen Christi Parish, 2750 W. Mequon Rd, Mequon. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Interment Lumen Christi Cemetery.
