Anna "Annie" Patricia Lander, 98, of Manistique, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility.

Born on January 15, 1927, in Manistique, Anna was the daughter of Marcus and Josephine (Barkovich) Bosanic. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a student at Manistique Area Schools. On August 15, 1946, she was united in marriage to Charles Thomas Lander, and together they were married fifty-six years, and built a loving home and family.

A devoted homemaker, Annie dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. In her younger years, she loved making family meals and baking Povitica Nut Roll bread, native to her Austrian ancestry. She loved garage sales and could never pass one by without stopping. Annie was known for her hard work, her deep faith, and her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique.

Annie is survived by her children: Carol (Duane) Sinnaeve of Manistique, Gary (Lorna) Lander of Indian Lake, David (Marsha) Lander of Manistique and Melanie (Kern) Bradley of Manistique. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles; her daughter, Linda Klagstad; her parents; her brothers, George, Marcus, Michael, and Joseph Bosanic; her sisters, Catherine Sien, Barbara Mickelson, and Mary Lander.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie's name may be sent to the Manistique Senior Center or the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter also of Manistique.

A graveside service for Annie will be held on Sep 4, 2025, 2:00 pm, at Fairview Cemetery.
