Anna M. (Majewski) Lewis, 94, of Cary, North Carolina formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her son at her bedside on December 29, 2025 in Cary, N.C. She was born on March 12, 1931, and was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Przyhocki) Majewski. Anna was the devoted wife of the late Paul K. Lewis, Jr., to whom she was married until his passing in November of 2017.
Anna devoted her life to caring for her family. Her home was a place of warmth, consistency, and love, and she took great pride in her role as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anna was a former member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.
She is survived by her son: Joseph P. Lewis, of Cary, North Carolina; her three grandchildren: David (Sarah) Lewis, Jason Schneider, and Stephen Schneider; and her five great-grandchildren: Cameron, Austin, Hailey, Evelyn, and Macie, who brought her immense joy.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul, as well as her cherished daughter, Debra A. Schneider, who passed away in 2020.
Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017, on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be made to The Allentown Rescue Mission, 355 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101 in Anna's honor.
