Anna Belle Macintyre

Anna Belle Kirchner MacIntyre, of Newington, beloved wife of the late Ralph P. MacIntyre, Sr., died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at a local convalescent home. Born in North Plainfield, NJ, Anna was a Newington resident for over 30 years, was formerly employed by the VNA, NJ and retired in 1979 from Conn. Mutual Life Insurance. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Newington Senior Citizens, the Newington Chapter of Eastern Star #115, was an avid bowler, and among her many hobbies, stitching was her favorite pastime. Anna is survived by her two sons, Ralph P. MacIntyre and his wife Arlene, of West Hartford, and Richard P. MacIntyre and his wife Nancy, of Newington, her 8 grandchildren, and her 11 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her third son, Robert MacIntyre. Anna's funeral service will be Monday, 11:00 am. at Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington with the Rev. Cecile Koppmann officiating. Interment will be in West Meadow Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday, 6:00 ' 8:00 pm. An Eastern Star service will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm.
