Anna Marie (Andreas) Cafolla

Anna Marie Cafolla, 91, of Seneca Falls/Geneva, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at Geneva General Hospital after a brief illness. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Sunday, March 10th from 2 - 5 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 11th at 11 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 97 West Bayard St., Seneca Falls. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo. Donations in memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

Anna Marie was born in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late Arthur and Olga (Benassi) Andreas. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Class of 1950. After graduation she started working for Seneca Falls Machine Co. as a Draftsman, where she crossed paths with Constantine Cafolla, who would become the love of her life and husband of over 35 years until his passing in 1990. She and Constantine were married on July 17th, 1955. She also worked for Matthews International as a Draftsman for many years until her retirement.

Anna Marie was a lifelong Catholic and had a strong faith in God. Her hobbies included oil painting, crocheting, tending to her garden, and taking care of her family. She was always so supportive of her kids growing up, and that extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as she grew older.

Anna Marie is survived by her children, Lisa, Daniel (Kathy Shores), and Mark Cafolla, BethAnn (Dale) VanDeViver; grandchildren, Chelsey (Marcus) Agnello, Angelica (Calvin Smith) Bruno, Alexis (Jay) Gonell, Sebastian (Danii Perry) Bruno, Michael (fiancé, Alexandria Bertalli) Bruno; great-grandchildren, Izabella, Jack, Brady, Adrian, Ava; sister, Barb Constable; special cousins, Joyce (Vito) Sinicropi; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Constantine; son, Paul Cafolla; brother, Carl Andreas; and sister, Betty Verzillo.
