Anna Taylor McKinney

Anna Taylor McKinney, age 85 of Beattyville, Kentucky formerly of Pikeville, passed from this earthly life Thursday January 15, 2026 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1940, the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Scott Taylor. Anna was a retired teacher, and more importantly a Christian and a member of the Main Street Church of Christ.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Crane Mckinney , brother, Clyde Taylor Jr. and her sister, Phyllis Allen.

Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert Crane "Robbie" (Cheryl) McKinney II of Beattyville, Kentucky and Tammy LeAnn (Justin) Imel of Houston, Texas, her grandchildren, Robert Crane (Christa) McKinney III, Chelsea Cooper, Randall Justin Imel II and Wilson Cromwell Imel, her great grandchildren, Colton Crane McKinney, Hunter James McKinney, Braxton Lee McKinney and Cayde Allen Cooper, by her brother, Billy Joe (Edna Fern) Taylor of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Robbie McKinney, Bobby McKinney, Wil Imel, Robert Taylor, Jason Taylor, Josh Allen, Cayde Cooper, Braxton McKinney, Colton Mckinney and Hunter McKinney.

In Lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Lee County Church of Christ P.O. Box 686 Beattyville, Kentucky 41311.

Visitation will be from 2PM-5PM and also 6 PM-9 PM on Sunday January 18. 2026 at J.W. Call and Son Funeral Home. There will also be visiting hours Monday from 11 AM till the service time at 1 PM at the Main Street Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be 1 PM Monday January 19, 2026 at the Main Street Church of Christ with Josh Allen, Keith Blackburn, Thaniel Thacker and Justin Imel officiating.

Burial will follow in Annie E. Young Cemetery at East Shelbiana.
