Anna Marie McVicker, 89, of Thomas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on August 11, 1936, in Thomas, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Saltavore and Maragret Gertrude (Propst) Teranto.
Anna, a proud 1954 graduate of Thomas High School, dedicated most of her professional life to bookkeeping and working as a cook, roles in which she brought precision, warmth, and care to everything she did. A devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, she gave back to her faith community through faithful volunteering and service. In her personal life, Anna found her greatest joy in cooking and baking for loved ones, as well as spending precious time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and presence filled her heart with endless happiness. Her life was a beautiful reflection of quiet strength, generosity, and deep family love.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Supak and husband Mike, Keith "Bud" McVicker and wife Donna, Deborah Seifert and husband Rick, Michael Tarantino and wife Sheila, Joseph McVicker and wife Joyce, and John McVicker and wife Dawn; grandchildren, Jessica Wamsley, Evan Supak, Justin McVicker, Daniel McVicker, James Seifert,Erin Seifert, Dayton Tarantino, Melissa Spencer, Nicole Fortney, and Joe McVicker; her brother, Paul Teranto; along with a large extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jason McVicker and Derrick Reed; and a brother, Leonard Teranto.
Anna's request for cremation was honored. There will be a celebration of her life held in the summer of 2026.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
