Anna Lorenia Moore

Anna Lorenia Moore, 92, of Highland Heights, passed away on December 2, 2025. Lorenia was born May 30, 1933 to Addie Mae Moore in Owsley County, Kentucky. Moved to Campbell County in 1936 and attended Newport Schools, graduating 3rd in a class of 98 in 1951.
Lorenia started working at Newport Mutual Fire Insurance Co. and Beckmeyer Insurance Agency in 1951. She retired as partner of Beckmeyer Agency in 1995. She was a longtime member of Cincinnati Association of Insurance Women, serving in various roles such as; President, Vice President, and Treasurer.
Lorenia enjoyed volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo since 1985. She was a 32 year member of the NKY Community Chorus (retired in 2015). Longtime member of First Christian Church, serving as its Financial Secretary, Choir Member, member of Chalice Chimers, and member of Peace Quilters. She was a member of several quilting groups including those who make baby quilts for Ronald McDonald House. She was also a member of the Campbell County Board of Elections poll worker (until 2017). And longtime supporter of animal rescue and sanctuary groups.
She was preceded in death by father, John Cooper, mother, Addie Mae Cooper. Anna is survived by many friends.
Plans for a memorial service at First Christian Church of Fort Thomas will be announced at a later date.
