Anna Maggie Lee Nelson, age 69 of Pioneer, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Born August 28, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Sarah Elizabeth Nelson Green. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children: Mac Blankenship; sisters: Florence Nelson and Wanda West; grandparents: James Wade and Evie Nelson; aunt: Frances Nelson; uncles: Joe Nelson and Estel Nelson; and brother-in-law: Jessie Morgan.

Anna is survived by her children: Keasha Nelson, and Grover Doug Nelson and wife Amanda; the loves of her life, her grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob, Elizabeth, Haley, RaeAnn and Gabe; great grandchildren: Jase Nathaniel Phillips, James Hayse Richardson; special nephews: William Green and wife Sara, and Michael Seiber; special niece: Quindeda and husband Adam Coffey; aunt: Nannie Washam, whom she loved very much; brother: Johnny Wade Green; sisters: Evie West and husband Dorum, Jr., Stella Morgan, Mary Richardson and husband Bobby, Elsie Crumpley and husband Warren, Nella Green; and Bobby Joe Nelson, who was raised like a brother; and her co-workers at Gold Creek Foods; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Friends may visit with the Nelson family on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carley Duncan and Bro. Don Hughett officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Nelson Green Cemetery in Pioneer, TN. Pallbearers will be Jamie West, Mark West, Michael Seiber, William Green, Danny Taylor and Grover Nelson.
