Anna R. Proia

Anna R. Proia, 89, left her loving family and friends to be with the Lord on September 11, 2025. She was born in 1935, and lived in Rochester, New York before moving to Cape Coral, Florida in 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband, Renato, parents, Michael and Archangela Tornatore as well as her brother, Samuel Tornatore and sister, Santa Palluconi. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Pasqualina, and brother-in-law, Angelo (Rita) Proia. Her loving children, Joseph (Ivete), Loretta, Michael (Cindy), and Angeline (Tyler) Frances, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren will also miss her dearly. A celebration of Anna's life will be held at Fuller Metz Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 15th with visitation from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 10:30am St. Andrew Catholic Church, followed by interment at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
