Anna Reznik Obituary

Anna (aka “Zayka,” aka “Baba”) Reznik, née Fisher passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 87 after a long and courageous battle with complications related to diabetes.

She was a beloved wife, adored mother and doting grandmother, who built her life around her fierce devotion to her family. Her greatest joy came from giving to others, and her heart was only at peace when she could share something she treasured, especially with those she loved most.

For 63 years, her devotion to her husband remained unparalleled. She adored her son beyond measure; he was the center of her world and her proudest joy. Her love extended wholeheartedly to her daughter-in-law, whom she embraced as her own, and to her granddaughters, who were the lights of her later years. Watching them grow up and thrive brought her unmatched happiness.

Originally from Odessa, in the former Soviet Union, Anna immigrated to the United States, where she worked for years as a manicurist, determined to make her dream of a better life come true. Although she did not have the benefit of much formal education, Anna had a rare ability to see people clearly. She had no patience for insincerity, and valued truth and authenticity above all.

Anna is survived by her loving husband (Alexander), adoring son (Edward), devoted granddaughters (Samantha and Sabrina) and daughter-in-law (Sandra). She was preceded in death by her ten older siblings. Her memory will live on in every act of generosity that touches someone and in the hearts of those who knew what it meant to be truly loved by her.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg's Suburban North, 310 2nd St. Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Proceedings will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Anna’s honor to the American Diabetes Association or sharing something that you treasure with someone you love, just as she did whenever she could, every day of her life.

May her memory be a blessing.
