Anna Kay Risser

Anna Kay Risser, 77, of Findlay, passed away at the OSU Wexler Medical Center, Columbus on Friday, October 24, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1948, in Kenton to the late Daniel and Vivian (Harris) Hatcher. On May 4, 1968 she married Wayne Risser who survives in Findlay.
Survivors also include her sons, Christopher (LeAnn) Risser, of Findlay, and Craig D. Risser, of Bluffton. Her grandchildren, Kayne (Maria) Gibson, Chelsie (Trever Gast) Risser, Tobias Christopher Risser, Shadd Risser, Mercedes (Zach Hostettler) Risser, Savanah (Dakota Hauenstein) Risser and Whayton Risser. Great grandchildren, Rilee, Bailee, Reichert, Mavrych, Estyn, and Tobyas, and a sister, Julie Griffin, of Findlay. Preceding her in death were her parents, a great grandchild, Sabyn, and a sister, Nora Brierley.
Anna, lovingly called "Bob" by her family members, was a 1966 graduate of Hardin Northern, a 1967 graduate of the Lima School of Practical Nursing, attended Findlay College in 1980, and was a 1981 Ohio State School of Nursing Graduate. She was a Licensed Nurse, at Memphis General Hospital in Tennessee in 1968, Craven Hospital in New Bern, North Carolina from 1969, Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, North Carolina from 1970-1972, Bluffton Community Hospital from 1973-1977, and at the Blanchard Valley Hospital from 1979 until her retirement in 2015. She was a member of the VFW Post 3003 in Kenton for eleven years, was a world class Beatles Fan, and loved to attend her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting events, and concerts. She also enjoyed reading, camping, and going to the Ocean in North Carolina. She was also a former owner of Ambrosia Tanning Salon from 2013-2016 and former member of the Bible Fellowship Church, Arlington.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 form 3-7 pm at the COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Red Cross or to S.I.D.S research. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com.
