On Sunday December 15th, 2024, Anna Rivelli, peacefully went to be with the Lord. She was born in Rochester, NY on April 18, 1928, to Mary and Salvatore Vella.
She was a faithful communicant of St. Theodore’s Catholic Church in Rochester, NY. Anna had a beautiful faith in the Lord and that was evident in how she lived her life. Anna proudly held many different jobs during her lifetime. She enjoyed many pastimes, such as gardening; she loved and appreciated the beauty in flowers. Anna had two cats who she adored, Babe and Timmy. She also loved playing the piano and proudly purchased her own piano and was learning to play. Anna also enjoyed keeping photo albums of her loved ones and reminiscing about days gone by. She also found much joy in spending time with her family, just sitting and chatting. To anyone who knew Anna she was always there with a warm smile, a loving hug and interesting conversation. She will be so greatly missed by those who loved and cherished her.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Domenico of 42 years, her beloved sister Angelina “Angie” Vella and her brother Ignazio Vella.
She is survived by her stepson Biagio (Michela) Nasca. Her two grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Nasca, Rosa Nasca (Thomas McCarthy) and leaves behind three beloved grandchildren, Mia, Gianna and Easton. Anna is also survived by many cousins. She especially cherished her cousin Samuel Mule.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:15 AM, in St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd., Rochester, NY 14606. Entombment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.
