It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Anna Margaret Sadler, who passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and close friends, and under the compassionate care of Arkansas Hospice. She was 76 years old.
Born on February 17, 1949 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas to Earl and Elvie Sadler, Anna was a woman of immense strength and kindness. She dedicated her life to her family and to helping others, a passion that led her to a fulfilling career. Anna graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1966 and went on to become a nurse in 1972. She truly loved nursing and dedicated over 30 years of service to the Baptist Healthcare System.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Ashley Smith (John Whiteley), her grandson, Timothy Blake Nelson, and her great-grandson, Raiden Nelson, who was the apple of her eye. She also leaves behind her siblings, Michael Sadler (Rosemary) and Paul Sadler (Katherine), her beloved nieces and nephews Chelsea O'Connor (Genya Mullins), Andy Sadler (Amy), Jeff Bowen (Monty), Vicki Kingery, and Cory Kingery (Courtney), as well as her extended family Colette O'Connor, Beth Florek, Sally Campbell, and Carolyn Risser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Elvie Sadler, and her siblings Mary Bowen (Robert "Bob"), Walter Allison Sadler, and Donna Marie Sadler.
A lifelong resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Anna was known for her kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed live music, rock & roll, reading books, traveling especially to the beach, and thrift shopping with friends. Her greatest legacy, however, is the love for her family and the memories we will forever hold in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Graves Memorial Church, located at 4617 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock, AR 72118. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.
