Anna Jane Salvati, 61, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of Anthony Salvati Sr. Along with her husband, Anna is survived by her children Anthony Salvati Jr. (Jamie Fallon), Emily Brown (Wayne Brown), Joseph Salvati (Kaylee Salvati), and Sarah Salvati. Her siblings’ Anthony Buccetti (Toni), Mary-Anne Marchetti (Augustus), Michael Buccetti, Paul Buccetti, Peter Buccetti (Roy Mazzacane), and John Buccetti (Lori). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Hazel Brown, Olyvia Brown, Wayne Brown III and Malcolm Salvati. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister-in-law Arlene Buccetti, brother-in-law Thomas Salvati, mother-in-law Martha (Ross) Salvati, and father-in-law Pasquale Salvati.
Anna was born on January 7, 1963, in New Haven, CT. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Jane (Acampora) Buccetti. Anna would go on to major in drafting at Eli Whitney Technical School, in which she graduated co-valedictorian of her class. She would pursue her love for design in the form of a short-term position with a local company in New Haven. Anna would later establish a career at Pathmark, where she would go on to meet her future husband, Anthony. Through a series of life changing events, Anna would find her greatest passion in creating a comforting and loving family as a stay-at-home mother. Anna was always the brightest in the room, who loved and was loved deeply by all; especially loved and cherished by her husband of 37 years.
Her family will welcome friends and loved ones to join them on the morning of Friday September 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. At 11 a.m. her funeral procession will depart the funeral home and proceed to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Committal Service will follow in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
