Anna Schuett, 97, of Loveland moved to her new residence in Heaven May 2, 2011. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Anna was born on September 14, 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska to August and Augusta Hansen. She was one of eight children. She married Vern John Schuett July 4, 1937 in Omaha. Anna was a homemaker and the mother of two children, John Vern Schuett and Carol Ann Kennedy. Anna grew up in Omaha and moved to Loveland Colorado in 1969. She loved being with people, caring for them. She was a foster mom to nineteen children while living in Omaha and was a 20 year volunteer at Sierra Vista Nursing Home in Loveland. Anna was predeceased by her parents, husband Vern, daughter Carol, brothers Fred, Lawrence, Paul, Chris, sisters, Margaret, Kathryn and grandson, Mark Kennedy. Survivors are brother Melvin (Ardie) Armbrust, son John (Peggy) Schuett, son-in-law Ed (Diane) Kennedy, grandchildren Mike (Kristin) Schuett, Russ (Jill) Schuett, Chris (Laurie) Schuett, Keith (Donna) Kennedy, Kurt (Molly Kennedy, Cathy Kennedy and Celeste Kennedy and 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staffs at the Courtyard and North Shore Rehab and Nursing Facility in Loveland for their tender care of Anna. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Loveland Bible Church, 400 Adams Ave., Loveland, Colorado 80537. Pastor John Engle of Timberline Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
