Anna Lee Sorrels, of Kingston, Tenn., passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at home from COVID-19, lupus and diabetes in her husband's arms. She was born June 5, 1973, in Dayton and lived most of her life in Rhea County. She was of the Baptist faith. Anna received her associates degree in American Sign Language from Chattanooga State University. She was a great photographer and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She treasured time spent with her daddy and 'little moma" getting together with family and friends. Anna was a free spirit and never met a stranger. She enjoyed watching movies with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Doris Morrison and Virginia Ruth Wofford; and grandfathers, Maurice Earl Jordan and David Wofford.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bryan Ray Sorrels of Kingston, Tenn.; daughter, Alex Owenby of Charleston, Tenn.; sons, Anthony Rogers and Chase Gordon, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Scarlet, Liam, Noah and Adam Owenby, and Serenity, Aiden and Ivan Rogers; mother, Debbie (Carey) Fite of Evensville; father, Steve (Brenda) Eberhardt of Kingston, Tenn.; brother, Aaron "Pookie" (Tiffany) Eberhardt of East Ridge, Tenn.; stepbrother, Cliff (Melissa) Fite of Chattanooga, Tenn.; stepsister, Caren (Ryan) Burns of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; nephew, Jacob Barnes of Red Bank, Tenn.; step-nieces and step-nephews, Andrew and Ashley Fite, and Lucianne and Gavin Burns; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Deena (Tim) Hendricks of Knoxville, Tenn.; father-in-law, Bill (Lisa) Sorrels of Shady Cove, Ore.; brother-in-law, Greg (Jenna) Sorrels of Gilbert, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Meagan (Eric) Serna & husband of White City, Ore.; special friends Alisha Reed, Sandra Richardson and Dexter; and numerous friends, cousins, aunts, uncles and co-workers
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service following at 12 noon in the chapel with Rev. Mark S. Way officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tenn.
